Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects from initiation to completion, assuring project implementation in time, budget and quality
  • Plan, review and monitor the contract with the client.
  • Ensure necessary resources and use formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, changes, and risks.
  • Manage projects to ensure customer satisfaction and meet contractual obligations relating to specifications, quality, cost, and schedule.
  • Monitoring of billing milestones. Monitoring of the KPIs of the contracts.
  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • Able to deliver projects in all Kapsch portfolio (tolling, traffic, clean air zones, ITS …)
  • Escalates to Program Steering Committee in case of major program deviations / risk identified
  • Leads contractual subcontractor negotiations
  • Leads contractual negotiations with the customer
  • Acts as Customer / Subcontractor interface escalation interface
  • Leads high-level sessions for program plan and schedule development
  • Reviews/approves project plans for conformance to program strategy and program plan and schedule.
  • Drives risk, contract, claim and change management
  • Arbitrate and resolve conflicts within the programme when necessary

Your Profile:

  • A minimum of 5, preferably 10+ years relevant experience as Project Manager for large scale software projects in a public sector.
  • Demonstrated large project management skills (min 5M EUR size).
  • ITS industry background is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification.
  • Proven leadership experience in line and matrix organizations.
  • Servant leadership style.
  • Solution driven personality with can-do attitude & approach.
  • Experience with all Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in dealing with third parties, subcontractors…etc.
  • Fluency in English for both verbal and written communication.
