The Deputy Project Manager is a training position for an experienced professional looking to grow into a Project Manager role supporting large, complex technology projects. In this role you will learn to be the point of contact for our valued customers, ensuring seamless collaboration and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. You will oversee the entire scope of the project, driving both commercial and technical success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support VP of Tolling Delivery and other Sr. PMs on all project needs
  • Customer-Focused Leadership: Act as the primary interface with the customer, fostering strong, positive relationships and delivering exceptional service at every stage of the project.
  • Dynamic Team Leadership: Inspire and lead a performance-driven project team, building a collaborative environment and ensuring the necessary resources are in place to succeed.
  • Comprehensive Project Management: Develop, monitor, and report on all project plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring projects stay on track, within budget, and aligned with customer expectations.
  • Supplier & Subcontractor Oversight: Manage relationships and performance with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring quality and adherence to contractual terms. Patriciate contract negotiation, change orders, and claims management to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience in customer relationship management, with the ability to engage, manage, and build long-term partnerships.
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working on cross functional teams
  • Business, finance and accounting aptitude
  • A self starter who enjoys learning, being challenged, working with others and having high impact
  • Project Management certification (IPMA or PMI) and Agile certifications are a plus.
  • International project management experience a plus depending on project scope and requirements
