We are looking for an Inventory Lead to join our team and act as the expert on SCM defined inventory processes and procedures, training of field personnel, reporting and inventory analytics.
Your Responsibilities:
Act as primary contact for all inventory related issues or needs.
Maintain system to accurately track inventory levels in each stocking location and ensure proper movements are timely recorded.
Implements processes and procedures related to Global inventory management policies to ensure compliance.
Interface with the Projects and Operational procurement team to facilitate reassignment of Surplus inventory creating savings through Cost Avoidances.
Facilitates and performs the intercompany shipments between stock locations.
Works with PMO to identify slow-moving or obsolete items and take appropriate actions to reduce excess inventory.
Reporting:
Development and distribution of reporting for regional trends in inventory.
Conducts regular meetings with regional leadership to review inventory reporting (sales lines shipped not invoiced, overdue sales lines, aging inventory, surplus inventory, etc.)
Auditing:
Coordinates, schedules, and manages Cycle Count Audit Results (Quarterly, Full Inventory, ending FY) to identify discrepancies and take corrective actions as needed.
Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory data.
Key interface for the annual external inventory audits.
Continuously evaluate and improve inventory management processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Conducts regular touchpoints with the warehouse personnel in the region to identify any problem areas where they may need support.
Provides regular training of warehouse personnel on the Kapsch warehousing best practices, policies, and procedures.
Your profile:
Solid experience in inventory, logistics, and warehousing (main focus of the role).
Experience in Purchasing and Supply Chain.
Technical studies. University degree is a plus (Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics).
Advanced level of Excel
ERP management (Navition is a plus).
Upper intermediate or higher level of English.
