We have an exciting 6 month, full time internship opportunity to join our Product Engineering team and support engineering efforts starting in January 2025.

The CAD Intern will assist CAD Draftsman in the development drawing packages for our commercial projects. This is accomplished by schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions or define plans to perform schematic capture of mechanical components, equipment or systems. Other duties include schematic capture, orthographic, or angle views to depict functional relationships of components and assemblies for Kapsch Tolling projects and building and maintaining block and parts databases.

Requirements:

  • Actively pursuing a University Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering. 
  • Completion of at least the second year of courses
  • 3.0 GPA and in good academic standing
  • Knowledge of Auto-CAD or Solid Works.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of Jira Ticket system an asset.
