Kapsch TrafficCom to ensure traffic flow in Pamplona
- Kapsch TrafficCom awarded traffic management maintenance contract
- Contract value of of EUR 1.2 million
Vienna/Madrid, 19 November 2024 – The Spanish city of Pamplona has awarded Kapsch TrafficCom a contract for the maintenance of the city’s traffic management system.
The contract convers the maintenance of the roadside hardware, including traffic controllers from multiple providers, as well as the software to interface with the controllers. The new contract extends the multi-year cooperation between the city and Kapsch TrafficCom. The Kapsch TrafficCom team tasked with maintaining the system consists of ten team members, including technicians and engineers, who are located in Pamplona.

The contract value is EUR 1.2 million. It has a duration of 14.5 months with two optional one-year extensions and is reviewed yearly.
