Carbon Disclosure Project recognizes Kapsch TrafficCom
Vienna, February 15, 2024 – For the second year in a row, Kapsch TrafficCom received the third-highest grade (out of eight) in the yearly Carbon Disclosure Project.
The score recognizes the coordinated action on climate issues that the company undertakes. Kapsch TrafficCom is ranked higher than its contemporaries in the electrical and electronic equipment sector, which underlines the company’s commitment to sustainability and climate protection.
The CDP report particularly recognizes the initiatives to reduce emissions and produce low carbon products of Kapsch TrafficCom. Products like the TÜV- and EU Taxonomy-aligned On-Board Unit TRP 4010 are best-in-class when it comes to sustainability and resource-efficiency. Additionally, the company’s tolling and traffic management technologies are important tools for cities and authorities when it comes to making mobility more sustainable.
