Kapsch TrafficCom's C-ITS technology plays a key role in Germany's new national strategy for autonomous and connected driving. Our technology connects vehicles and infrastructure and is used on German highways for roadworks warnings.
Kapsch TrafficCom has successfully completed the pioneering project for connected vehicles on the A8 highway near Bilbao. Funded by the Diputación Foral de Vizcaya and Tecnalia, this is Spain's first connected corridor, covering 57 km in the greater Bilbao area and enabling communication between vehicles and infrastructure.
