At Kapsch TrafficCom, we're looking for a Pricing Specialist who thrives on detail and wants to play a key role in supporting groundbreaking projects across North America. As part of our dynamic bid & proposal team, you’ll collaborate with experts across Engineering, Project Management, and Solution Centers to shape cost models, competitive pricing strategies, and ensure our proposals are spot-on!

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with engineering, project management, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to analyze RFPs, build cost requirements, and develop detailed pricing models.
  • Lead Price Reviews: Coordinate and lead proposal price review meetings with our team and management to ensure corporate approvals are met.
  • Competitive Pricing: Conduct in-depth competitive pricing analysis to set price targets and enhance the value proposition for proposals..
  • Industry Insight: Prepare insightful reports analyzing industry trends and pricing patterns.
  • Proposal Accuracy: Ensure proposals are 100% compliant, complete, and submitted on time, meeting all requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Develop and update cost/pricing templates that align with evolving company and industry needs.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1- 5 years of professional experience working with complex client projects
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience working and managing external and internal stakeholders including senior leadership
  • Business, finance and accounting aptitude
  • Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), ERP systems, SharePoint and Salesforce are highly desirable.
  • Bonus Skills: Any relevant experience with pricing proposals, cost analysis, or in the Electronic Tolling or Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) sectors
