Are you ready to influence the next generation of cutting-edge hardware products? As a Hardware Architect at Kapsch, you will take center stage in driving the innovation and development of hardware solutions that power Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS).

What You'll Do:

  • Innovate and Create: Design and develop hardware components for ETC and ITS, transforming complex product demands into innovative solutions.
  • Strategic Influence: Define and implement product requirements into hardware architecture and design specifications.
  • Design Expertise: Develop advanced analog, digital, power supply, and high-frequency circuit designs, ensuring state-of-the-art quality and performance.
  • End-to-End Ownership: Support approvals, industrialization, and maintenance to deliver exceptional hardware products.
  • Collaborative Development: Create simulations, algorithms, and software to validate and optimize hardware functionality.
  • Document and Elevate: Maintain comprehensive development documentation to ensure clarity and consistency throughout the product lifecycle.

What You Bring:

  • Education and Experience:
    • Technical vocational training (HTL, FH, TU) or equivalent professional experience in electrical engineering and telecommunications.
    • Proven expertise in system and circuit design, with a focus on EMC-compliant design and testing.
  • Technical Skills: Analytical thinking, a structured approach to problem-solving, and a passion for mastering new technologies and concepts independently.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English. German is a plus!
  • Mindset: A creative thinker with a proactive attitude, ready to take the initiative and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
