Your responsibilities:

  • Discovering and developing new and/or innovative technology product ideas, strategic product extensions or enhancements to existing products for the translation of research discoveries into usable and marketable products.

  • Identifying, collecting and evaluating new and/or innovative technology products.

  • Leading, planning and tracking all phases of the technology product life cycle from inception through introduction into the marketplace.

  • Appraising new technology product ideas to determine their potential to address customer needs and to achieve goals in revenue growth and market share.

  • Establishing technology product specifications and collaborating with various functions, including engineering, manufacturing, telecommunications, marketing and sales, to ensure successful product development and implementation.

  • Solving complex problems; taking a new perspective on existing solutions.

  • Working independently; receiving minimal guidance.

  • Possibility of leading projects or project steps within a broader project or having accountability for ongoing activities or objectives.

  •  In-depth knowledge in own area and basic knowledge of related areas.

  • Acting as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

Your Profile:

  • Masters/PhD degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, physics, software engineering or similar

  • Ability to actively drive proof of concepts as well as to transform the same into performance applications and products

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in software development

  • Profound knowledge of software development with C++ and Python

  • Experience with deep learning, computer vision, image processing, machine learning highly beneficial

  • Familiar with Linux environments and docker

  • Practical knowledge of Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI / CD)

  • Familiar with Agile and Scrum development methodologies

  • Proactive mindset to drive collaboration between teams in an intercultural environment cross-organizational environment

  • Ability to assist team members to overcome technical problems

  • Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills
