Kapsch Vehicle Registration (VR) Systems are high end Automatic Number Plate Reader (ANPR) systems for use as enforcement systems in ETC solutions in multi-lane and single-lane applications. The VR systems supply a digital image and a result from an evaluation of the number plate in the image using OCR. Different schemes for authentication and encryption are supported. Both front and rear images can be handled.
