Kapsch Romania was founded in 2009 as a 100% subsidiary of Kapsch BusinessCom AG, a leading system integrator, IT services and  IT solutions provider in Austria and Central and Eastern Europe. The primarily focus of the Romanian subsidiary was oriented towards providing IT professional services for global and regional Kapsch customers present on the local market.

In 2011 Kapsch decided to expand its operations in Romania and to cover a much broader area of solutions and services. In the next three years, the growths of the subsidiary will be based on acquisitions, outsourcing deals, staff and technology transfers.

Kapsch Romania relies on manufacturer independence and partnerships with globally leading technology providers like Oracle, Cisco, IBM, HPE, HP Inc., Check Point, Citrix, Intel, Microsoft, Fujitsu, Dell, Hitachi, Imperva, VMware, Symantec and many others. Romanian subsidiary of KBC will act as a regional hub through which the know-how and the resources will be shared according to the projects Kapsch will decide to approach. In these countries, KBC will develop local presence through authorized partners or subsidiaries, depending on the level of business upgrowth.
